Peqerja is a newly established social enterprise that envisions a world where people are inspired and well supported to fully realized their potentials. Our work is fueled by a belief that we all have the capacity to succeed in our own way - everyone’s individuality leads to a unique mission in life. However, there are a significant number of people who neither have the access to higher education nor the opportunity to develop themselves professionally which leads them to limited opportunity. Our work focus is on low and semi-skilled young individuals whose potentials have been overlooked within industries and regions, and whose issues have been heightened by a pandemic that has affected their opportunities and overall well-being. Peqerja is on a passionate mission to provide access to economic opportunity for Indonesia’s low and medium-skilled young individuals by: 1) Preparing Low & Semi-skilled young individuals for employment through potential assessment, training programs, coaching, and mentoring. 2) Connecting Low & Semi-skilled young individuals to most suitable economic opportunities through employment, self-employment, or entrepreneurships. 3) Creating the systems & technology to support their transformation journey.
